How did you get started in the industry?
I initially got my start in pest control in 2018, knocking doors for Frontline Pest Control. After a summer in door-to-door sales, I left for business school and have been working in marketing and executive support roles since. In 2025, I reconnected with the CEO at Frontline, who was on the hunt for someone to lead their marketing department, and it was a great fit.
Did you have any mentors along the way? If so, who, and how did they influence your career path?
I’ve had many mentors and colleagues over the years who have shaped my career. Within the pest industry, Nik Boettcher, president of sales, Frontline, and Guillaume Bergeron, CEO, Frontline, have been particularly influential and helpful as I’ve adapted to the pest control world.
What’s the biggest learning experience you’ve had?
Raising three children as a young mother has been so formative. My husband and I had no idea what we were jumping into when we became parents, but I am so grateful for every moment and all the hard (and good) lessons we’ve learned.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Act like the role you want before you have it. In order to achieve the roles, titles, experiences, and opportunities that you want in life, you need to embody the person who will fit those. Dress professionally, speak well, spend your free time developing who you are, and become the ideal person for the roles you are wanting to fill. You will become the natural fit.
What’s your secret talent?
As a woman working in pest control, it’s been fun for my co-workers to see another side of me—the pageant queen. It’s a unique talent of mine to compete in this space, and I love being able to show the versatility in who I am. I also love to sing and perform. Hopefully, I can make time to get back into performing in the coming years.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
That I was kind and supportive. As a woman in a leadership role, especially in a male-dominated field, it can be easy to come across as intimidating to other women in the workplace. It is my goal to help the women around me feel seen, supported, and uplifted. We rise together!
Describe yourself in three words?
Ambitious, hardworking, dedicated.
What keeps you awake at night?
Thinking about my incredibly busy schedule. I juggle mom life, home life, work life, pageant life. I always have somewhere to be and not enough time to get there.
What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
To be adaptable. We can’t control most things in our life and world, but what we can control is our mindset and willingness to adapt. When things go wrong, which they often will, approaching the challenge with a growth and opportunity mindset changes the hardship into a learning experience.
Who would play you in the film of your life?
Kristen Bell’s personality fits mine very well for those who know me, and Amy Adams and Isla Fisher are my look-alikes, according to many of my friends.
What is the weirdest way you’ve been injured?
I am extremely risk-averse, so I haven’t been hurt many times, but when I was knocking doors for pest control sales in 2018, I ended up dropping my iPad on my foot, and it broke two of my toes. Surprisingly a very painful injury, and such a silly way to get it.
What’s your pet peeve?
People who lack empathy. Being able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and provide support and understanding is crucial. And when people don’t read my text or email and ask a question that was already thoughtfully answered. Per my last email!
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
“You’re the best!” I’m told I say that quite often, but maybe the people I surround myself with really are the best!
