Ants are the number one nuisance pest in America, and the internet is flooded with home remedies that claim to work against infestations. Expert entomologists tested viral do-it-yourself (DIY) hacks against a live ant colony to answer one question: can they really get to the root of the problem? According to a recent NPMA survey conducted online by the Harris Poll, 29% of Americans have tried natural or home remedies to deal with ants, and one-in-three (33%) know someone dealing with an active ant problem right now.
