For over 15 years, the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) has been successfully marketing the value of professional pest control to consumers, resulting in positive exposure for our industry and the growth of both residential and commercial markets.
In fact, 37% of homeowners reported using a pest professional in 2014 — a significant increase from the 18% of homeowners who used a pest professional in 2001. While we don't take all of the credit for such incredible growth, PPMA — through the help and generous support of its investors — is indeed advancing the industry.
