Technology Adopter Award
As technology continues to be a driving force in the pest management industry, NPMA is proud to recognize member companies that are leading the way. The NPMA Technology Adopter Award celebrates pest management companies that have embraced innovative technology to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen their workforce — demonstrating that a forward-thinking approach to technology can transform a company at every level.
Eligibility
Active NPMA PCO member company in good standing.
Award Criteria
Submissions will be evaluated across five areas:
- Technology Integration
Adoption of new tools, software, or systems that have meaningfully improved day-to-day operations. - Business Growth
Demonstrated company growth attributable to technology investments, including revenue, routes, or customer base. - Operational Optimization
Measurable improvements in efficiency, scheduling, routing, billing, or service delivery. - Workforce Development
Use of technology to attract, recruit, train, or retain employees. - Innovation Mindset
Evidence of a company culture that proactively seeks and applies emerging solutions.
Application Questions
Applicants will respond to the following three questions:
- What technologies has your company adopted in the last 1–3 years, and how have they impacted your business operations and growth?
- How has technology improved the experience of your employees and/or customers?
- Describe a specific technology decision that has most defined your company’s trajectory — what drove the decision, and what has been the measurable impact?
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed by a nominating committee comprised of NPMA and sponsor representatives using a standardized scoring rubric. The committee selects one recipient annually. The award is presented at PestWorld each year as part of its Industry Awards Ceremony.
Nominations for the Technology Adopter Award are now open. The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2026.
