PestVets Next Rank Fund
The NPMA PestVets Next Rank Fund provides financial assistance to honorably discharged military veterans currently employed in the pest control industry. This program supports career advancement through professional development and industry engagement.
Administered by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and supported by the PestVets Council, the fund is committed to fostering military veteran career development in an effort to:
- Advance veterans into leadership positions by providing guidance on career pathways
- Assist NPMA member companies with professional development costs that benefit both veterans and business growth
- Encourage NPMA member companies to hire and develop veteran talent
Program Goals
The PestVets Next Rank Fund awards two (2) comprehensive career advancement packages per cycle. Each grant includes:
- $1,500 travel stipend to attend PestWorld
- Full complimentary registration for PestWorld
- NPMA Pro Certified bundle: study materials and exam fee
Eligibility Requirements
- U.S. Veteran Status: Honorably discharged from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces
- Current Employment: Actively employed in the pest management industry by an NPMA member company
Application Requirements
- Resume including current position
- A letter of recommendation from current supervisor or colleague if you are a business owner seeking grant support.
- 1-2 paragraph explanation of why you are applying for this award and how your military experience has prepared you for your role in pest management.
Program Notes
- Incomplete applications will not be considered
- Award availability subject to funding
- Applicants may reapply after 2 years; preference will be given to first-time applicants
