The Alliance’s Spring & Summer 2026 Bug Barometer® is Here
The Professional Pest Management Alliance officially released its Spring & Summer 2026 Bug Barometer®. This bi-annual forecast translates weather patterns, long-range climate data, and pest biology into region-by-region predictions for what might come crawling, flying, and burrowing in this season.
After a winter defined by a polar vortex, erratic precipitation, and ground-insulating snowfall that helped pests survive beneath the surface, the Alliance’s experts are predicting pests could emerge earlier and in greater numbers across the country. From termites and mosquitoes in the Southeast to ticks and stinging insects in the Mid-Atlantic, the forecast is a helpful planning tool, and your customers will want to hear it from you first.
