The Alliance Rallies Pest Control Industry During Termite Awareness Week
The Professional Pest Management Alliance urges pest control professionals to unite in raising awareness of the serious damage termites cause and the value of early, expert intervention
Termites are among the most destructive and costly pests threatening American homes and businesses, and they operate almost entirely out of sight. With warmer temperatures on the horizon and the threat of termite activity intensifying, the Professional Pest Management Alliance, which drives demand for professional services through innovative marketing programs, is calling on pest control companies nationwide to spread the word during Termite Awareness Week taking place March 1–7, 2026.
Termites cause an estimated $6.8 billion in property damage each year in the United States, and these costs are rarely covered by homeowners’ insurance.
