NPMA Announces Resources for Celebrating April as National Pest Management Month
NPMA proudly celebrates April as National Pest Management Month, highlighting the essential role of pest management professionals in protecting public health, food, and property. This annual observance, established by the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), recognizes the dedication of service professionals, customer service representatives, sales personnel, managers, and everyone who contributes to this vital industry.
Continuing the success of previous years, NPMA has updated its dedicated webpage for industry professionals to celebrate the significant contributions of the pest management community in safeguarding communities nationwide. Under the theme "Pest Management Protects," NPMA provides comprehensive tools for professionals to recognize team members, colleagues, and coworkers for their outstanding service.
This recognition program is proudly sponsored by Syngenta, whose support demonstrates the industry's commitment to collaborative efforts in addressing pest-related challenges and promoting sustainable solutions.
“Pest management professionals are on the front lines of public health protection every single day, and National Pest Management Month is our opportunity to recognize that vital work,” said Dominique Stumpf, CEO of NPMA. “The theme ‘Pest Management Protects’ says it plainly — this industry protects public health, food supplies, and properties across the globe, and the professionals who do that work deserve to be celebrated.”
Throughout April, NPMA encourages pest management professionals to utilize the website resources, which include customizable e-cards for colleagues and staff, as well as ready-to-use graphics and copy for social media platforms. These resources emphasize the critical role of pest management and showcase the industry's unwavering commitment to creating healthier, safer communities.
