NPMA's Workforce Development Program Celebrates Five Years of Connecting Talent with Pest Control Careers
Program delivers applications to member companies through exclusive job board and multi-channel recruitment campaigns.
FAIRFAX, VA - The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its Workforce Development Program which has connected qualified job seekers with member companies since its 2020 launch. The program addresses the pest control industry's most pressing challenge: recruiting and retaining qualified workers. Over five years the initiative has achieved significant milestones through its multi-channel approach including targeted digital advertising, active partnerships with military transition programs through SkillBridge, and comprehensive recruitment resources available through the Workforce Development webpage.
"Our members consistently tell us that workforce challenges are the number one barrier to growth," said Dominique Stumpf, CAE, CEO of NPMA. "The Workforce Development Program was designed to address this critical need by raising awareness of pest control careers and building a robust pipeline of qualified candidates."
As of April 2025, NPMA now offers unlimited job postings for all member companies on careers.pestcontroljobs.com, the industry's exclusive job board. This upgrade from the previous benefit of one free job posting per year represents NPMA's continued commitment to supporting member recruitment efforts. The program continues to invest in raising public awareness about industry careers and driving qualified applicants to PestControlJobs.com and Careers.PestControlJobs.com; developing partnerships with established organizations that serve targeted audiences including veterans, students, older adults, women and people from historically underrepresented groups; and supporting NPMA members with workforce development initiatives by providing recruitment and retention guides, training, and tools.
