NPMA Presents Industry Awards at PestWorld 2025
Best of the Best Recognized at NPMA's Annual Event
Orlando, FL -- October 23, 2025 -- The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) recognized industry leaders as part of PestWorld 2025, being held in Orlando, FL.
During its Tuesday Opening Ceremony, NPMA CEO Dominique Stumpf presented two key awards: the Employee Recruitment and Retention Committee was honored as 2024-2025 Committee of the Year, and from All-American Pest Control in Nashville, TN, Erin Richardson, chair of the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) Steering Committee, received the 2024-2025 Committee Chair of the Year Award.
On Thursday during the annual awards ceremony, several additional awards were presented, including the ACE Professional Award (presented by the Entomological Society of America), Emerging Leaders Award, NPMA Gives Award, Excellence in Sustainability Award, Culture Catalyst Award, Women of Excellence Award, and the Pinnacle Award.
Christopher Somers of Rambo Total Pest Control in Washington received the Entomological Society of America's ACE Professional Award.
Staci Jo Johnston of Ecolab in Eagan, MN, was the recipient of the Emerging Leaders Award. This award recognizes rising stars who have already made significant contributions to the Association and/or to the pest management profession and have demonstrated the potential for leadership and continuing service. The award is sponsored by Rentokil Terminix.
Lindsey Pest Services headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, was awarded the NPMA Gives Award. This award recognizes NPMA member companies that have demonstrated leadership through their dedication and contribution to the good of the community. This award is sponsored by PestPac by WorkWave.
Hawx Smart Pest Control headquartered in Ogden, UT, received the inaugural Excellence in Sustainability Award. This new award recognizes companies that have made outstanding contributions to environmental stewardship in the pest management industry. This award is sponsored by Nisus Corporation.
Thomas Pest Services, Inc. headquartered in Schenectady, NY, was honored with the inaugural Culture Catalyst Award. This new award celebrates companies that have created exceptional workplace cultures through strong core values and employee engagement. This award is sponsored by Arrow Exterminators.
Alyson Gilleland, Vice President of Arrow University at Arrow Exterminators in Woodstock, GA, received the Women of Excellence Award. This award recognizes female pest management professionals who demonstrate outstanding leadership and have made notable contributions to the development and growth of other women in the industry. This award is sponsored by Target Specialty Products.
The Pinnacle Award was presented to Dan Moreland, an award-winning journalist who spent more than four decades covering the pest control industry for PCT magazine. The Pinnacle Award, NPMA's most coveted and prestigious accolade, honors an individual who has contributed not only to the success of the association but to the industry as a whole over a lifetime or career.
