NPMA Honors Industry Pioneers Bob & Judy Dold and Bernie Holst Jr. with Prestigious Lifetime Membership
June 2, 2025 – Fairfax, VA: The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) is thrilled to announce that Lifetime Membership in the Association has been bestowed upon Bob & Judy Dold and Bernie Holst Jr., celebrating their remarkable careers and unwavering dedication to the pest management industry.
"Bob, Judy, and Bernie aren't just leaders—they're visionaries who have transformed our industry through their passion and commitment," said Faye Golden, President of NPMA. "Their countless hours of service to NPMA have not only advanced our profession but have inspired generations of pest management professionals who continue to benefit from their wisdom and guidance."
Dominique Stumpf, CAE, NPMA CEO, shared her enthusiasm: "It brings me immense joy to see Bob, Judy, and Bernie receive this well-deserved recognition. Their tireless advocacy, innovative thinking, and genuine love for our industry have created a lasting legacy. Through their exceptional contributions to NPMA, the Professional Pest Management Alliance, QualityPro, and the Pest Management Foundation, they've helped build the strong, dynamic organization we are today."
The Dolds have been a powerhouse couple in pest management for decades, turning Rose Pest Solutions in Illinois into an industry benchmark for excellence. Bob served as NPMA President from 1983 to 1984 and Judy was President from 2001 to 2002. Their son, Hon. Bob Dold was recently elected as Secretary to the 2025-2026 NPMA Board of Directors. Dold says, “It is an honor for me to see my parents recognized for their life long commitment to our industry and the people that make it so special.”
Bernie Holst Jr., started Horizon Pest Control in New Jersey with the motto, “let our family take care of your family.” He brought that concept of caring connection to his leadership as President of NPMA from 2006 to 2007. Bernie Holst III now leads the company and said, “As a second-generation owner, my sister Kristin and I could not be more proud of our father. His commitment to the industry, NPMA, NJPMA, our clients, and our employees has become his legacy at Horizon and set the tone for how we continue to operate today.”
As NPMA Lifetime Members, these extraordinary individuals will receive the benefits of membership as well as complimentary registration to PestWorlds—small tokens of appreciation for the immeasurable impact they've had on our industry.
Please join us in celebrating Bob, Judy, and Bernie—true champions whose personal commitment and professional excellence continue to inspire us all.
