September 29, 2010 — (Fairfax, Va.) Earlier this month, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) NPMA introduced its redesigned Web site (www.npmapestworld.org) to the industry.

“While our Web site has a new look, the real change is in its approach,” stated NPMA Executive Vice President Rob Lederer.  “We've enhanced the architecture of the site, allowing for a clearer structure, simplified navigation and improved search functions—making finding information easier than before.”

The new site offers several new features, including:

  • PestPedia, an extensive database of news articles, fact sheets, Library Updates, and many more resources to help pest management professionals identify and learn about a particular pest.

  • An enhanced Find-a-Pro form that allows NPMA members to update their online listings, ensuring that their company is found by potential customers.

  • Archived recordings of the popular NPMA on Demand webinar series.

  • Consolidated information on the legislative and regulatory issues impacting the industry.

Over the next few months, NPMA will introduce new features and improved navigation on the site.   Please direct any questions to Janay Rickwalder, NPMA’s director of communications and marketing, at jrickwalder@pestworld.org

The NPMA, a non-profit organization with more than 7,000 members, was established in 1933 to support the pest management industry's commitment to the protection of public health, food and property.
